To mark the 47th anniversary of the creation of Medicare and Medicaid, CSEA Southern Region President Billy Riccaldo joined with fellow union leaders from the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation, community activists and Dennis Tracey, the state president of the Alliance for Retired Americans for a press conference outside the Valley View nursing home in Goshen where participants called out Congresswoman Nan Hayworth on her support for devastating proposed cuts to Medicare. A number of Valley View residents joined the event.
