Central Labor Councils Release the Names of Endorsed Candidates

The Hudson Catskill, Upper Hudson, and Dutchess County Central Labor Councils and the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation announced the slate of candidates that they have endorsed for this November. 

The CLCs made their decisions after a thoughtful and extensive endorsement process.  Each candidate seeking their support answered an in-depth questionnaire and participated in a formal interview with Council members. This process ensured that Council members were fully aware of each candidate’s position on key issues important to working families in the Hudson Valley.

Paul Ellis-Graham, President of the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation, emphasized the importance of the endorsement process. “We are dedicated to ensuring that voters are aware of those candidates that will represent the needs of working families in the Hudson Valley”, he said. “Now more than ever working people need to be assured that their elected representatives will support job, education, and housing initiatives that will help our economy grow again.”
